Eastlyn Viola Flemming

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eastlyn Viola Flemming on May 20th, 2025.

Eastlyn lived a life of quiet devotion, guided by her deep faith in God. Through her work with children and her service to others, she radiated warmth, compassion, and grace.

Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, Eastlyn touched countless lives across the UK, the United States, Trinidad, and Canada. Her time in Montreal was marked by cherished family connections and friendships that brought her joy, community, and love.

Eastlyn leaves behind her beloved sons, Roy (Nicole) and Jason (Sonjali), and her treasured grandchildren—Spencer, Paige, and Isabella, and her brother Alanzo. She is predeceased by her brother Alrick "Westlyn", her father Frederick and her mother Barbara—who were the light of her heart. She is also lovingly remembered by her many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and close friends.

Known for her generosity, strong will, unshakable faith, and sense of humor, Eastlyn’s life was a testament to kindness and resilience.

And now, she returns to her Father in heavenly peace.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Eastlyn’s memory.

Revelation 21:4 (KJV)
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
