It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Edna Savard (Williams), who peacefully left us on September 5, 2025. Edna is predeceased by her beloved husband Theodore (Teddy) Savard, and 15 siblings.

Born on November 23, 1942, Edna was an adored spouse, parent, grandparent, great grandparent, sibling, and friend. Known for her kindness, loving spirit, and beautiful smile, Edna touched the lives of all who knew her. She will forever be remembered for her love of family, her generosity, and her devotion to her faith.

With a heart for community, Edna was always willing to help someone in need, dedicating her life to caring for the elderly and serving others. There scarcely was a person who met Edna and wasn’t immediately offered something to eat, drink, wear, or sleep on-she’d even offer the clothes off her back (and did, on several occasions).

From her beginnings in Newfoundland to her adopted home of Laval-Ouest, Edna made friends wherever she went. Her life was spent in the pursuit of spreading joy; her infectious laugh, easy smile, and adoration was greatly admired by all who knew her. She lives on in hearts of all she touched-a list too long to count.

Edna will be dearly missed by her loving children Louise, Sandy, Jody (Rob), George (Andrea); her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Casandra, Jacob, Samantha, Levi, Charly, Samuel, and Noah; her treasured great grandchildren, Kaitana, Anthony and Aubrey; her beloved siblings, Marjorie (Pat) and Clara; and innumerable relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6, on October 4, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to L’Association Des Benevoles Du CHSLD Vigi Deux-Montagnes Inc.

580, 20 ieme Avenue,Deux-Montagnes, Quebec.
