<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce that Efthimios Grillas, 81, passed away surrounded by his family on September 27th, 2020. <br> <br>Efthimios is survived by his wife Stathoula of 56 years, son Kostas Grillas, daughters Maria Grillas-Haron(George), and Anastasia Grillas-Scartozzi(Robert) and son Kris Grillas (Nancy Salituri) and grandchildren Andrew(Stefanie), Jerry, Michaela(Matthew),Timothy, Nikolas and Lukas. Efthimios was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. <br> <br>Efthimios made his way to Canada in 1964, from Havari, Greece. He was a hard working, caring and humorous man. Efthimios enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC) on Thursday, October 1st, 2020 from 3 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. The service will be held on Friday, October 2nd, 2020 at 10 am at St. Helen & Constantin Church (20 Brunswick, Dollard-des-Ormeaux,Qc.) <br>Due to the pandemic situation, sanitary measures are in place at the funeral home. Masks are mandatory at all times. A maximum of 25 guests (including family) will be permitted at a time in the parlor. Rotation will be preferred to allow family and friends to have to opportunity to extend their condolences to the family. <br> <br>A special thank you to all our health care workers for their loving care and support during his final days. <br> <br>Donations could be made to Diabetes Canada Foundation in his memory. <br> <br></div>
