Esme Albertha Osborne Layne passed away peacefully after a short time at St. Anne's Hospital on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
She joins in eternal rest her husband Richard Barrington Layne and daughter Charmaine Loretta Layne.
She leaves to mourn her daughters; Jocelyn Pamela Beckles, Barbara Eleanor Layne Brenda Elizabeth Layne, Sherrill Ann Layne, and Jennifer Layne.
She will be missed by her cherished grandchildren Vanessa Elecia Collins and Spencer Jared Barrington Layne.
She also leaves many family and friends of her church community; St. Matthew's Anglican Church and St. James the Apostle, currently St. Jax.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 from 7 to 9 pm, as well as 10 am on Thursday, January 25, 2024, followed by a Chapel Service at 11 am and the burial in Rideau Memorial Gardens.
