Esterina Iacovelli née Desantis
January 4, 1951 – April 22, 2026.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Esterina Iacovelli née Desantis who left us on April 22, 2026, at age of 75 at the Verdun Hospital. Beloved Wife of 49 years to Felice Iacovelli. Their love is an eternal love. Devoted Mother to Lucia (MARK), and Giuseppina. Loving Nonna (grandmother) to Natalia and Cherished Sister-in-law to Antonio Iacovelli (TINA). She is reunited in Heaven with Giuseppe and Elvira Desantis and Donato and Saveria Iacovelli and her loving companions, Pepe and Nino. Our mother was a fighter till the end after a courageous battle with Parkinson´s disease.
She dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and joyful memories. Her generosity, strength, resilience and unwavering love will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and eternally loved by everyone who knew her.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 4th, 2026, at noon at the Rideau Funeral Home & Cemetery 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, QC, H9B 2A6. Burial will follow. Family and friends are welcomed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson Canada Foundation in her honour. We wish to thank the caring staff at the Verdun Hospital for their compassionate care and support they provided to our mother.
