<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ethel Violet Brackenridge (Eldridge), who peacefully <br>left us on January 23, 2026. Born on June 20, 1921, she was a beloved spouse, parent, grandma, greatgrandma, sibling, and friend. <br>Ethel Violet Brackenridge will be dearly missed by her loving children Robert and Terry and their spouses <br>Heather and Mathilda. Her remaining sister Laura. Also by her cherished grandchildren along with their <br>spouses, Ian(Lisa), Brian(Emily), Holly(Riccardo) and Kim(Eric), as well as her great-grandchildren Kaia, Otis, <br>Silvia, Jacob and Olivia and a multitude of relatives and friends. <br>Ethel was known for her deep devotion to family, her kindness towards others and a faith strengthened by <br>God's grace. Whether through a warm smile, a well told story or steady advice. She left an impression that <br>would be carried forward by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. <br>A celebration of her life will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des- <br>Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6. Visitation will be on February 3 2026 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. As well as <br>visitation on February 4 2026 from 10:30-11am, followed by a funeral service at 11am-12pm. Finally a burial <br>at Mont Royal Cemetery on February 4, 2026 at 1pm, located at 1297 Chemin de la Foret. Outremont (Quebec) H2V 2P9. <br>Donations in memory of Ethel Violet Brackenridge can also be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity <br>of your choice.</div>
