On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, just 2 months short of her 101st birthday Eva D’Andrea Rastelli, wife of the late Frank Rastelli passed away, at the Jewish General Hospital.
She leaves to mourn her son Paul (Charlene), daughter Lynn (Paul), her six grandchildren David (Tamarra), Nicole, Mark, Sarah (Matt), Carla (Shawn), Michael (Melissa) and her great grandchildren Madison, Beckham, Brooklyn, Harlow, Banks and Emerson. EVA to Frank, Mom to a few, Nanny Eva to many, Auntie Eva to more and Mrs. Rastelli to many more, loved and cherished by all.
Over her one hundred years this remarkable lady was able to adapt with the changing times, from the youngest sibling of seven growing up in Lachine, to school girl, to accomplished athlete, to working girl, to wife, to stay at home Mom, to career woman, to retired traveler and finally to family matriarch, this was a life well lived. Forever witty, bright, current, engaging and welcoming right until the end.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Wellesley for their kindness and support and in particular, Kamala Williams, and a special thank you to her caregiver Pamela Forde. To the nurses and staff at the Jewish General for their care and compassion during her short stay there, thank you.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday December 5, 2025 from 2- 4pm at the Rideau Funeral Home 4329 Sources Blvd, Dollard des Ormeaux.
