Eva Oestreich, a woman of boundless generosity and unwavering faith, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Germany, Eva immigrated to Canada on April 29, 1966, with her beloved husband, Werner (2003), and their three daughters, Heidi, Monika, and Birgit. Despite speaking no English, Eva embraced her new life with courage, building a legacy of Love and service. Eva devoted her life to supporting her family, nurturing her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her hands were rarely still; she knitted countless blankets for those in need and filled suitcases with supplies for underprivileged in Cuba.
Her 5O-Year Marriage to Werner was a Testament to her steadfast commitment. At 46, Eva became a born-again Christian, finding strength in her faith. Her spiritual devotion and kindness touched countless lives. She is deeply missed by her daughters, Heidi (Klaus), Monika, and Birgit (Danny); her grandchildren, Michael (Daiana), Christine (Brian), Maria (Michael), Sophia (Kevin), Michael John, Christopher, and Katherine (Jordan); and her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Madison, Zachary, Jaxson, Isabella, Karli, and Kinsley.
