Eva Vizi
April 2, 1946 - January 6, 2021
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eva Vizi, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, in Pointe-Claire, at the age of 74.
She will be greatly missed by her children Gerald Zavorsky (Rebecca Ann Brooks) and Roy Zavorsky (Alexandra Morin). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Emma Morin, Thomas Zavorsky, and Olivia Zavorsky. She also leaves behind her sister, Margaret Hindie, who currently lives in Fairfield Connecticut. She was predeceased by her brother Andrew J. Vizi of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Helen of Budapest, Hungary.
Eva Vizi was born in Budapest, Hungary, on April 2nd, 1946. She moved to Montreal in 1968 to marry her then husband Zoltan Zavorsky, who also immigrated to Canada from Budapest. After the marriage dissolved, she continued to live the rest of her years in the West island, spending as much time with her children as possible. She loved her children immensely.
Eva was also a great seamstress. Eva always kept her apartment in an immaculate condition. She loved children’s movies and cartoons and she loved food. She is to be remembered as a wonderful, gentle soul.
Due to circumstances regarding the pandemic, a private event will be held in her memory, at an ulterior date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Schizophrenia Society of Canada would be appreciated.
