<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Francesco (Frank) Mazzaferro at the age of 84 years. Frank was born in Rizziconi, Calabria, Italy, on June 16th, 1938, and died on Tuesday May 30th, 2023, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband to Stella (née Catananti), and a loving father to Jenny (the late Emidio) and Michael (Chantal). Frank leaves his loving grandchildren Emanuela, Gianfranco, Giancarlo, Giordano, Mikaela and the late Gabriele. Extended family, Gia and Dante (Chantal). He joins in eternal rest his brother Teodoro (Lina) and is survived by his brothers Paolo (Elizabeth) and Salvatore (Louise), and many loving nieces and nephews. Frank will be missed by his friends and family in Canada, USA, and Italy. <br><br>Peace, love and serenity surround our Dad and our family now. His battle with cancer is over. In our hearts, he won and is our hero, gifting us the best memories of life.<br><br>Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bernard Lemieux and Dr. Pasquale Ferraro at the CHUM, and to all the oncology staff. Frank est né à Rizziconi, Calabre, Italie le 16 juin 1938 et s’est éteint le mardi 30 mai 2023, entouré de sa famille. Époux bien-aimé de Stella (née Catananti), et père aimant de Jenny (feu Emidio) et Michael (Chantal). Frank laisse ses petits-enfants chéris Emauela, Grianfraco,Giancarlo, Giordano, Mikaela et feu Gabriele. Il laisse également sa famille élargie, Gia et Dante (Chantal). Il rejoint ainsi dans le repos éternel son frère Teodoro (Lina) et laisse dans le deuil ses frères Paolo (Elizabeth) et Salvatore (Louise) ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces qu’il aimait tant. Frank sera grandement regretté par ses nombreux parents et amis au Canada, États-Unis et en Italie.<br><br>La paix, l'amour et la sérénité entourent notre papa et notre famille maintenant. Son combat contre le cancer est terminé.
