<div itemprop="description">It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Francesco “Frank” Spina, surrounded by the love of his family on January 5th 2024 at the age of 66. <br> <br>He leaves to mourn and will be greatly missed by his wife Gina, his loving children Michael (Sandra), Matthew (Sabrina), Amanda and his beautiful granddaughter Sofia. <br> <br>Frank was a man with a big heart and despite his challenging battle, he remained resilient throughout his difficult journey. We will forever continue to keep his spirit alive and will strive to make him proud for the rest of our lives. He will always be in our hearts, may God bless his soul. <br> <br>He will also be sadly missed by many family members and dear friends. <br> <br>Many thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Barkun and Nova West Island for their compassion and continuous efforts. <br> <br>Visitation will be held on January 14th from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. <br>Funeral Service will be held on January 15th at 11:00 AM at Rideau Funeral Home. <br>A private interment will take place at a later date. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nova West Island or Cedars Cancer Center.</div>
