Passed away peacefully on July 07, 2019, at the age of 89 years old. The son of Elisabeth and Paul Stefan.
Beloved husband of Hildegarde ‘’Hilde’’ Ness of 65 years.
Loving father of Rosemarie (the late Michael), Robert (Marcia) and Frank (Natalia).
Cherished grandfather of Matthew Klemm (Stephanie), Veronica Klemm (Alex) and Christopher Stefan.
He will also be greatly missed by his sister Madeleine Klefas, niece Joanne Ruck and her family, nephew Anthony Klefas and his family as well as many relatives and friends in Hungary, Germany, Greece and Canada.
He was a faithful employee at CN for 40 years. He enjoyed his retirement by traveling and gardening. His favorite season was fall and many times he admired the fiery sunsets over mount Rigaud where he spent the last 4 years of his life until God called him home.
The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 4pm to 7pm followed by the celebration of life from 7pm to 8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer and Parkinson Societies in his memory would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank management and staff at Centre d’hébergement Rigaud for their support and loving care.
