Frank Pilkionis
August 26, 1930 - January 22, 2022
Frank Pilkionis, Montreal, Quebec, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at 91 years.
Beloved husband to Mary (nee Yatzimirsky), loving father to Susan (Frank) and cherished grandfather to Alexander (Caroline) and Jennifer (John). Frank was predeceased by his brother Joe, sister-in-law Carol and nephew John. He will be missed by his sister Julie and nieces Carol Ann and Lori (Dan).
Frank grew up in Admiral, Saskatchewan then moved to Montreal where he served with the Westmount and Montreal Police for 32 years, retiring as Lieutenant Detective.
He enjoyed playing golf, curling and musical instruments as well as performing magic tricks.
Fond memories at Manoir Kirkland where he resided for the past eight years.
A special thank you to the West Island Manor nursing and support staff for their care the last four months and caregiver Danielle.
Dad was a man of faith and he is now with the Lord.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private family ceremony will be held at Rideau Funeral Home.
