<div itemprop="description"><br> <br>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frieda (Daust) Krywyn who peacefully left us on January 19, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on July 24, 1930, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. <br> <br>Frieda will be dearly missed by her loving children, Peter (Shirley), Ruth, Erika (Randy), her cherished grandchildren, Danny, Zack, Becky, Melanie, Chris, Tanya, her adored great-grandchildren, Lily, Ashton, Mylah, Anysia, Merayah, and a multitude of relatives and friends. <br> <br>Known for her kindness, her warmth, her compassion, and her unwavering faith, Frieda touched and was greatly loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will forever be remembered for her patience and love for her family. <br> <br>A celebration of Frieda’s life will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6, on Friday, February 06, 2026 with the family receiving condolences from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM and the internment service at Rideau Memorial Gardens, in the Nativity Garden at 12:30 PM. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. <br> <br></div>
