At home with family, Gary John Hayes passed away peacefully. He worked hard his whole life to care of his family; his loving wife Lynn, his children Tara, Kirstin (Greg), Jesse (Sean), Michael, Yasie, and his grandchildren Bryan, Mikayla, William, Reilly, Emma, Cooper, and Xander. Gary was an only child, but he had many brothers and sisters in his friends, his cousin Geoffrey (Alison) and his wife's siblings.
He opened his home and arms to those who needed a place to go, to visit, or even stay. We all loved his big heart, warm smile, and sense of humour. He is well known for his professional trucking career, his cars and motorcycles, and his love of animals, the Habs, and chicken. He leaves us to join his Mother, Eileen, and Father, John, in Heaven, where he is happy, healthy and reunited with countless friends and family members too.
We will be celebrating Gary's life on Sunday, March 8th at the Legion in Chomedey between 2 PM and 8 PM. Drop in for one last beverage of your choice to toast Gary or stay for a buffet style dinner and dance party. We will have an open mic for those who wish to share, to sing, or play a song.
One last hurrah to honor Gary and give him a well deserved send off. We love you Bear, Dad, Grampa, Uncle, Brother, cousin, friend.
