<div itemprop="description">George Willis Colman passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at the age of 92 at Ste. Anne’s Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec.<br><br>He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose unconditional love and steady presence were the cornerstone of his family. Known for his quick wit and sharp mind, George brought laughter to every room with his great sense of humour. He was equally talented in the kitchen, where he loved bringing family together over an excellent meal, and on the golf course, where he spent many of his happiest days with his good friends.<br><br>He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Joan (née Mumford); his daughter, Kim; and his adored grandchildren, Katherine, David, and Kevin, who will forever miss their grandfather’s tricks and crazy stories. George was predeceased by his older brother Bill and his younger sister Beverley. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Ste. Anne's Hospital for their exceptional and compassionate care.<br><br>A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Boulevard des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC, H9B 2A6. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am, followed by the memorial service at 12:00 pm (noon). A reception will follow from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the same location.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to the Ste. Anne's Hospital Foundation.</div>
