Born in Pouderoyen, located on the West Bank of the Demerara River in Guyana, and raised in Montreal. <br> <br>Gillian brought warmth, laughter, and love wherever she went. She fought a loud fight with what she lovingly labeled the “Dirty C,” showing courage and resilience to the very end. <br> <br> <br>Gillian is survived by her beloved husband, Delroy Senior, and their cherished children, Cyrus and Zarya Senior. She was the youngest sister to Colin Bentley, Sharren Phillips, and Mark Bentley, and was preceded in death by her parents, Juliette "Julie" Bentley and Rothwell "Bonnie" Bentley. <br> <br> <br>Gillian was the heart of every party, bringing joy and energy to gatherings big and small. She was a best friend, confidant, and safe space to all who knew her. Her smile and laughter could fill an entire room, leaving unforgettable memories with everyone she met. As a wife, she was devoted and loving; as a mother, she was a fierce protector and unwavering supporter, always putting her family first. <br> <br>Gillian’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven from love, friendship, and steadfast support. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. We celebrate her incredible spirit and hold her memory close, knowing her legacy of kindness, laughter, and love lives on in all of us. <br></div>
