With heavy hearts but unwavering hope in Christ, we announce the passing of John, a beloved husband, dear father, loving grandfather, adoring great-grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, called home to enter into his peaceful, eternal reward on December 15th at the age of 87.
Born on March 1st, 1937, in Altamura, Italy, John was a pillar of strength and love to his family. He is survived by his loving wife (Grace) and his cherished children John (Wendy), Rosie (Carlo), Robert (Sharon). Adored by his grandchildren Alexander, Shaylyn, Benjamin (Brittany), Nicolas (Laura), Christopher, Steven and captivated by his great-grandson, Theodore. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and their families in Canada and Italy. His family was his greatest earthly joy, and he left a legacy of love, wisdom, and faith that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held at Rosemount Bible Church 6000 13th Ave, Montreal, on December 28th at 11am. Friends and loved ones are invited to join us as we honor his memory and give thanks for the promise of eternal life through Christ.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift to (https://www.rbc.qc.ca/giving) in honour of John.
“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple” -Psalm 27:4
While we mourn his absence, we rejoice in the knowledge that John is now in the presence of his Savior, worshiping in glory. Until we meet again, we rest in the blessed assurance that God’s promises are true.
