<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppe (Joe) Salvati on December 30th, 2020 after a courageous battle. <br> <br>He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Brenda Shea, his beloved sisters Rosamaria (Massimo) & Carla, his dear niece Laura (Pepe) his great niece Lea. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Gail (Ron), brother-in-law Brian (Lynne), nieces Lauren, Alana (Tristan) , Megan (Emmanuel), nephew Liam, great-niece Eva, as well as numerous loving family members, friends and colleagues. <br> <br>Visitations will take place on Saturday, August 14th from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 des Sources blvd, DDO, 514-685-3344). A celebration of his life will be held on the same day at 1:30 p.m. at Rideau funeral home, followed by the entombment at Rideau Memorial Gardens. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or to The Montreal General Hospital in his memory for research on IPF. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the Doctors who took care of him throughout his illness: Dr. Nicole Ezer, Dr. Ilan Azuelos, Dr. Nathalie Saad and Dr. J.B Hughes. <br></div>
