<div itemprop="description">KING, Gloria (Lourenco) <br>May 6, 1923 - June 7, 2020 <br>It is with great sadness that the family of <br>Gloria King announces her passing <br>after complications due to Covid-19 at <br>the age of 97 years old. She was born <br>and raised in Trinidad, BWI. Gloria was <br>the cherished wife of the late Paul King <br>(1993). She will be tremendously <br>missed by her loving children Kevin, <br>Kathy (Kerry),Carolyn (Mike), Pauline <br>(Michael), her adored grandchildren <br>Christina (Tony), Sarah, Jennifer, <br>Amanda (Francisco), Kerry (Thomas), <br>Christopher (Kristin), Patrick, Daniel, <br>Christopher Robin (Chloe), great <br>grandchildren, Landon, Dylan, Willow, <br>Adeline, Sia and Sky. She will be sadly <br>missed by her sister Dora Pickrell, her <br>sister-in-law Dolores Lourenco and her <br>many nieces and nephews. <br>Gloria was known for her quick wit, her <br>giving nature and her love of family. <br>She was an avid reader and wickedly <br>smart. Her grasp of the English <br>language would transform any essay <br>into a flawless work of art. She loved <br>McDonalds, fresh flowers, the British <br>royal family and knowing the weather. <br>She hated mice and squirrels with a <br>passion. In the last four years Gloria <br>was living in a seniors' residence and <br>had visitors every day. She especially <br>loved her great grandchildren's weekly <br>performances in her room. She was <br>known to dance at every wedding to the <br>song "Gloria". <br>The family would like to thank a very <br>special friend, Myrna Reasbeck for her <br>unconditional devotion and love for Glo <br>and her niece Karen Brennan for her <br>love, support and family updates. <br>Special thanks to Manon, Delilah and <br>Angel from the CHSLD Lachine, for <br>their care, patience, understanding and <br>endless compassion for Miss Gloria. <br>She was affectionately known as "Glo" <br>and she will always glow in our hearts. <br>Due to current circumstances a <br>memorial service will be held at a later <br>date. <br>Expressions of sympathy may be given <br>at Arbormemorial.ca.</div>
