<div itemprop="description">Halina (Horbaczewska) Donovan <br>1930 – 2019 <br>The definition of Grace. Exquisite in every way possible. Hers was an important life. She was God’s kindest blessing to us. Exceptional in spirit, she was loving, tender hearted, fearless, courageous and an inspirational beam of light that had us all wanting to draw closer to her for this lifetime and eternity. <br>Her passing is a tremendous loss for her loved ones and friends, but the celebration in heaven, is surely awe-inspiring. <br>A courageous survivor of the devastation of World War 2. Family, home and country lost, all too young. Ten years of forced relocation from Siberia ending with 7 years in Uganda, Africa before being sent to Canada with her mother, Wanda Horbaczewska, at Pier 21, Halifax Harbour in 1949. Enduring many challenges she also faced Multiple Myeloma cancer for the last 10 years of her life. <br>Married in 1952, she created a beautiful home and life, where she raised 3 children in a truly loving manner. Pre-deceased by her husband, Leo J. Donovan. Left to mourn by children, Kathleen (Wayne Arseneault), Aileen (Tom Larivière), and Michael (Jane). Grandchildren Kayleigh (Travis Fraser) and Matthew. Great grandchild, Isla. <br>This most remarkable and admirable woman, Halina, will be remembered though time by her family, relatives, friends and grand-dogs and cats, who loved this angel on earth. <br>Visitation will take place on Thursday July 25, 2019 at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Blvd. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the Celebration of her Life at 12:30 p.m. <br></div>
