<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts the we announce the passing of Helen May Svendsen, who passed peacefully on January 27, 2025 at Maxville Manor. Born on May 28, 1937, she was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. <br> <br>Predeceased by her parents Emil Svendsen and Elsie (nee Stahlbrand) and siblings Nancy Brassard (nee Svendsen), Dick Svendsen and Ralph Svendsen. She will be dearly missed by her brother Bruce Svendsen, sister-in-law Joanna Svendsen (nee Peterson), brother-in-law Claude Brassard (Dianne) and many nieces, nephews, and friends. <br> <br>Known for her thoughtfulness and charity towards others, she touched the lives of all who knew her and left a lasting impression of kindness and love. Above all, her desire to be kind and do the right thing will be remembered fondly. <br> <br>Cremation to take place at Rideau Funeral Home with interment later this year. <br></div>
