It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Henry Lun Ming Woo, who peacefully left us on January 12, 2026. Born on July 9, 1934, he was a beloved spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling, and friend. Henry will be dearly missed by his loving spouse, Sou Yip, his loving children, Rita (Ben), Gordon [Predeceased], and Denny, and his cherished grandchildren, Brandon and Stephanie.
Henry will also be missed by a multitude of relatives and friends. He will forever be remembered for his friendly and sociable demeanor.
Henry loved to cook, meet new people, and meet up with his friends and relatives for coffee. He also always tried to stay active and he was a sports enthusiast. He worked as a chef at a multitude of different restaurants throughout his career, most notably at Ruby Foo's Chinese Restaurant and as a head chef at Le Jardin Tiki.
Henry was known for his generosity, for always being hard working, and for his wisdom. Henry touched the lives of all who knew him. His legacy lives on through his family, who will forever cherish his strength and spirit. He will be deeply missed.
