<div itemprop="description">I am saddened to announce the passing of my father, Herbert Otmar Mikovits. He passed away peacefully at hospital at the age of 84 on May 5, 2024, in Longueuil, Quebec. <br> <br>Leaving behind his family and many friends, he will be remembered as a strong man, sharing a love of life, laughter, music and a good glass of wine at the dinner table. <br> <br>He kept his sense of humor right to the day he could fight no more, cracking a joke or two, making us laugh and smile. <br> <br>That is how I would like us all to remember my dad, and lift our hearts in celebration and not in sadness. <br> <br>There will be a private family viewing only. We invite anyone who wishes to honor my dad to consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. <br></div>
