<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Herbert George Spinsby, who peacefully left us on May 1, 2024, surrounded by his daughters. Born on November 17, 1941, to George and Florence (Monahan) Spinsby (predeceased), brother of Mary Ann Spinsby (predeceased), beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend to many. <br> <br>Herb will be dearly missed by his loving children and their spouses, Patti Spinsby; Shannon Spinsby (Casterdale); Melinda Spinsby (Bryan), his cherished grandchildren, Alyssa Cormier (Xavier); Aysha Spinsby (Jordan); Alexandre Cormier; Kamal Spinsby; Khalid (Dukie) Spinsby; Malaya Thomas; Shaylin Thomas, his great grandchildren, Averie DiRuzza-Spinsby; Lily Ann Garneau and Jaivyn Spinsby-Collette and many relatives and friends. <br> <br>A gentle soul with a heart of gold, he touched the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, sense of humour and endless jokes. He was always there to lend a hand in times of need. He will be deeply missed, but forever remembered. <br> <br>Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Rideau Funeral Home located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 1:30pm to 2:30pm followed by a service in the chapel. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. <br></div>
