<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hilda Seizer (Steinbach) on July 21, 2026, at the age of 89. <br> <br>She was the devoted mother of three sons: Jurgen (Sonia), Ralph (Nutan), and Mark (Andrea). She was also the fiercely proud grandmother of six: Katia (Marco), Carl, Sachin, Katarina, Erika, Leo, and great grandmother to Thomas and Zachary. <br> <br>She leaves behind a legacy of immense love, dedication, and beautiful family traditions. She will be profoundly missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all who knew her. <br> <br>Over the last ten years, Hilda was challenged by Alzheimer’s disease, facing it with grace and resilience. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the caretakers who supported her at home, and to the staff at the Bayview Center for their exceptional care and compassion during her final two years. <br> <br>Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Blvd des Sources, Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, Quebec, followed immediately by a Memorial service. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations in Hilda's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal. <br></div>
