<div itemprop="description">In loving memory of SCHLEIERMACHER, Hildburg (née Engelmann) <br> May 6, 1918 – January 17, 2025 <br> <br>It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Hildburg at the Lakeshore General Hospital at the age of 106. She was predeceased by her husband Kurt (1999), her granddaughter Amanda (2019) and her son Peter (2022). <br> <br>Hildburg is survived by her dear son Rupert (Marian), daughter-in-law Lorraine, Melissa’s mother Deborah, her granddaughters Melissa (Matt), Krysta (Justin), her grandson Garrit, her great-grandchildren, Derrick, Emily, Bennet, Emma, and Marie. <br> <br>Born in Germany, Hildburg and her husband immigrated to Canada in 1952 and settled in Montreal. She lived life to the fullest and will be missed by her family and all who knew her. <br> <br>As per her wish, there will be no funeral service. <br>A private family burial will be held at the Rideau Memorial Gardens, January 31, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. <br></div>
