<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of<br><br>Hildegard Ness Stefan on August 30, 2026 one week before her 91st birthday. Beloved wife of the late Frank Stefan.<br><br>She will be deeply missed by her children Rosemarie (Fred), Robert (Marcia) and Frank Jr. (Natalia); her grandchildren<br><br>Matthew Klemm (Stefanie), Veronica Klemm (Alex) and Christopher Stefan; and her three great-grandchildren Miles, Louis-Philippe, and Mayzie.<br><br>Predeceased by her sister-in-law Madeline Stefan, her cherished son-in-law Michael Klemm, and by many beloved cousins.<br><br>She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Joanne Ruck and her family, nephew Anthony Klefas and family, as well as by her relatives and friends in Hungary, Germany, Greece, and Canada.<br><br>The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff on the first floor of CHSLD Vigi Pierrefonds for their compassionate and exceptional care, and a special thanks to Fallon for always going the extra distance.<br><br>Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, Boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc) on Thursday September 10, 2026 from 4-7 PM followed by a service at 7 PM.<br><br>Burial will take place at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery (4601 Chemin De La Côte-Des-Neiges, Montreal, Qc) on Friday September 11, 2026 at 1:15 PM.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations in Hildegard’s memory may be made to the Canadian Myeloma Research Group (CMRG)<br><br>https://cmrg.ca/donate/<br><br></div>
