<div itemprop="description">Surrounded by loved ones, Howard Livingstone Morris Dayle passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16th 2022 at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire. <br> <br>The son of Wesley Dayle and Rebecca Hainsley of Jamaica WI, he is predeceased by his daughter Charmaine and his wife of 68 years, Enid. He is missed by his children Janice and Aubrey (Julie), and his step-daughter Lilieth. He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Noni, Makeda, Ray (Gerald), Ishi (Brittney), Tia (Dave), Jamila, Melodie, Djenaba (Erika), Stefan (Natasha), Daria, and Echo, and his 16 great-grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by his sister Eva, as well as many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and friends. <br> <br>Mr. Dayle’s insatiable curiosity, keen observation and sharp wit laid a foundation for his many ventures as a corporate leader, community builder, husband, parent, and friend. He touched countless lives in his 101 years, providing a constant source of encouragement, guidance, and engaging conversation. <br> <br>Special thanks go to Mr. Patrick Depass, Ms. Henri Ewaskio, Ms. Malvena Hensley and family, the Johnson family, the Reid family, the Lewis family, the Cullen family, and Pastor Joshua Lee and the Lakeside Heights Baptist Church family. The support and care they showed both Mr. and Mrs. Dayle over the years is so greatly appreciated. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 7th 2022, from 2pm to 4pm & from 7pm to 9pm at Rideau Funeral Home. A service of Thanksgiving for Mr. Dayle’s Life will take place on Friday July 8th 2022 at 11am at Lakeside Heights Baptist Church, followed by the burial at Rideau Memorial Gardens. <br> <br>The service will be live-streamed via YouTube for friends and family unable to attend in person: https://youtu.be/jxNITz2gBCI <br> <br>Join the family in celebrating this remarkable man’s life by contributing photos, videos, and stories on this memorial site or by making a donation in his memory to one of a few charitable organizations listed on the Contribute tab.</div>
