<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ida Maude Branch Alleyne, who peacefully left us on December 28, 2025. Born in St. Joseph Parish, Barbados on June 19, 1943, she was a beloved spouse, parent, sibling, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. <br> <br>Ida will be dearly missed by her loving children Catherine and Cynthia, her surviving siblings Joan and Timothy, and a multitude of nieces/nephews, great-nieces/great-nephews and friends. <br> <br>Known for her kindness and her warmth, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She will forever be remembered for her caring nature, sense of style and her love of gardening. <br> <br>A celebration of her life will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6, with a visitation on Thursday January 15, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday January 16, 2026 from 11:30 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM and burial at 1:30 PM. <br> <br>A reception will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Church, 15556 Cabot Street, Pierrefonds from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.</div>
