<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ioannis (Johnny) Kontos, who left us peacefully on January 10, 2025.<br>Johnny was the beloved husband of Stella Hadzipantelis and cherished father of Catherine 1960-2012 , Frank & Kim Trenholm and a devoted grandfather to Madison Eleni, John Josh, Matthew Persechino, Grace Sahyouni, his Great Granddaughter Mia Catherine Persechino. <br>Johnny’s warmth, kindness and wisdom touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be profoundly missed by his family, extended relatives, and countless friends.<br><br>Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., D.D.O. (514-685-3344).<br>The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Koimisis tis Theotokou Church, 7700 Av De L'Épée, Montreal, QC H3N 2E6.<br><br>Johnny’s legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.</div>
