<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Italo Pallotta on April 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family. <br> <br>Beloved husband of Gina Pallotta (nee Chiaraluna) with whom he shared a life that spanned nearly sixty years of marriage. Cherished father of Patricia (Pat Forese) and Mark (Donna Wareham) and adored nonno of Kayla, Vanessa, Peter, Nicole, and Ryan. Dear brother (in-law), uncle, and friend to a large extended family and close-knit community. <br> <br>The family is touched by the outpouring of support, messages of condolence and stories of his friendship and kindness that are a testament to the life that he lived; a genuinely caring and selfless man who was always there to help a family member or friend in need, share his hospitality with old and new friends alike and being the gentle and unassuming heart of the family and neighbourhood. He will be greatly missed; his legacy will live on in those that he touched. <br> <br>We would like to thank the many family members whose support is deeply appreciated, the incredible nurses from Nova (Leslie, Marianne, Olive and Emily) who looked after him at home and special thanks to Dr. Shahani and the incredible team of angels at Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Centre who made his final days as comfortable as possible and allowed those that love him to be with him not as caregivers but as family. <br> <br>Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boul. Des Sources in Dollard des Ormeaux on Wednesday April 24, 2024, between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held in the same location on Thursday April 25 at 11 am, followed by the burial. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Centre, 265 André-Brunet, Kirkland, QC H9H 3R4 or a charity of your choice. <br></div>
