Jack Alexander Popiel
April 11, 1938 - November 13, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jack Alexander Popiel on Saturday November 13, 2021 at the age 83 years old. He passed away in his sleep while at Suroit Hospital in Valleyfield, Quebec.
Loving husband for 61 years of Carmen Popiel (nee Pepe), adoring father of Deborah Popiel, proud grandfather of Sierra (Pritpal) and Selby (Mark). He will be fondly remembered by his relatives (brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews) and close friends and neighbors.
Jack was predeceased by his parents (Julius and Stanislawa), and by his brother Barry and by his beloved family pets Puffy and Muffy.
Jack had a life long career at Air Canada for over 34 years as an aircraft mechanic and many years spent in management as a foreman and had remained in contact with former Air Canada employees long after his retirement.
Jack lived every moment right up until the end, keeping active and busy for as long as he could, and always putting his family first.
Many thanks for the attentive care he received at the Suroit Hospital.
He will forever remain in our hearts every single day.
I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always
As long as I'm living
My husband, my dad, my grandfather you will be.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to non- profit animal rescue shelter.
