It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved 'Baba', Jacques Fayssal, on February 12, 2023 in Montreal.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 23 years Theresa Szuber and his loving children Layla, Tamara, Samantha and Jack (Jr), his brothers Joseph (Virginie), Johnny (Shogher) and Giscard (Marie Thérèse), nieces and nephews Léna, Théo, Ivan, Benjamin, Charlie, Tatiana, Christopher, Thea, Talia Maria, Tulay, Tuline, Jennifer, Anthony, as well as many loving in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jacques is predeceased by his loving parents Fouad and Angele.

Jacques was a kind and loving husband, father, and friend. He worked for Air Canada for almost 30 years forming many friendships and bonds with his coworkers. Not only was he a hard worker, but he was also always willing to help, share a laugh and enjoy life. He loved to travel so working for Air Canada gave him the chance to take his family on many vacations, spoiling Theresa with a few beach vacations a year. He adored his wife and children and was always willing to put his family first no matter what. He would travel back home to Lebanon when his family needed him, no questions asked.

Always willing to lend a hand, at work, at home and in his community. Everyone he met was treated like an old friend whether he just met them that moment or many years before. He took his time in life, living each moment to the fullest, never rushing about and always arriving early. One never needed to ask for help when Jacques was there, he was the first to volunteer or pitch in wherever help was needed.

His family will receive condolences on February 25th, 2023 at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B 2A6 from 11 am, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Rideau Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory for cancer research would be greatly appreciated.

Should you wish, you may attend the funeral service virtually at the https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/69571

"Only a moment you stayed, but what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts".

Little Footprints, Dorothy Ferguson, poet
