Some lives are true reflections of God’s love.
Lorraine lived as a dedicated and passionate educator of children. At 18 years of age she joined the Holy Cross nuns to become a missionary. She taught the poorest children in the world in Bangladesh after having mastered the Bengali language. She left the nuns and came back to Montreal where she taught as an elementary teacher and vice principal for some 32 years. She ended her career as principal for three years in Quataq an Inuit village in Nunavik northern Quebec.
Lorraine passed away peacefully March 12, 2025 from a neurological condition called Progressive Primary Aphasia. Lorraine is survived by her husband Oscar and her brothers Bryan and Denis.
Burial will be on Thursday 27th March at 11:30 AM followed by a reception from 12:00 to 2:00 PM
