<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jean Couture, on the 7th of September, 2025, at the age of 79.<br><br>Son of Albert Couture, and the late Madeleine Couture (Felton), loving husband of Ena (Leacock), father of Annemarie (Derek) and Paul (Marie-Noëlle), grandfather to Taylor, Ashley, Emily, and Vivian. Brother of Louise (Bob), Gilles (Janice), Danielle (Roman), and uncle to many nieces and nephews.<br><br>He was very involved in his community, notably giving his time to the Westminster Pool and Park Associations, Becket Players, and the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.<br><br>If you were fortunate to have met him, you were instantly considered a friend. He was known to have the biggest heart. His favorite pastime was connecting with friends and family on the phone. He also enjoyed golf and cribbage.<br><br>A public visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Boul. Des Sources, Montreal) on 2025/09/15, from 2 PM to 5 PM, and from 7 PM to 9 PM. A service will be held the day after, at 11 AM.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence (265 André-Brunet, Kirkland, Quebec, H9H 3R4, 514-693-1718).</div>
