<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Vaughn, late of Lasalle, Quebec, aged 82, who peacefully left us on February 8, 2026. Born on February 27, 1943, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. <br> <br>Jean will be greatly missed by her dear mother, Myrtilla (predeceased by her father, Leicester), her loving son, Christopher, her daughter-in-law, Farraminah, and her darling grandchildren, Thelo, Ellis, and Olamina. Sister of Lionel, Merline, Charles and dear Veta who cherished her tremendously. A treasured aunt to Pshanette, Ryan, Nicole, Hallon, Tamarah and Geoffrey and a beloved sister-matriarch to so many through deep family ties and deeper friendships. <br> <br>Devout member of Trinity Pentecostal Church and the Council for Black Aging Community of Montreal. Jean was known for her kindness, fashion sense, warmth, gorgeous smile and unrelenting faith, which touched the lives of everyone who knew her. <br> <br>A celebration of her life will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 12 pm.</div>
