Born in Toronto October 28, 1959, son of Dorothea and Victor Cox, brother of Elizabeth Cox passed away suddenly on March 3, 2020.
Jeff was a cancer warrior, and fought his disease quietly and successfully for six years.

As a realist Jeff lived his life to the fullest: in loving homes across Canada with his final years living in Montreal.
He was an outdoor man with great love for nature and an excellent fisherman. Many business start-ups ranging from Hudson, Quebec to Summerside, Prince Edward Island, with his final ownership of his much loved pub: Duffy’s, in Dorval.

Jeff will be deeply missed by his only surviving family, his sister Elizabeth (Liz), and his many friends he loved dearly and so many people whose lives he enriched. He was a very generous and logical man, with a tremendous sense of humour who always cared about his friends and family. He contributed meaningfully to the lives of those who knew him.

Sincere thank-you to the doctors and staff of the Montreal Jewish Hospital whose care and brilliant treatments enabled Jeff to extend his life in a good quality of life during his six years of cancer treatments.

In memory of Jeff donations to the Montreal Jewish Hospital Cancer Center, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Jeff…..my “Favourite Brother”. You will always be in my thoughts and forever in my heart. I love you, FS.
