Jerry Gerben Vanderwal (1949-20250, although born in the Netherlands was very much Irish at heart. Family and home were his priorities. Gatherings of the clan - family and friends were the high points of his days.
Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Willy-Marie, sister Wilma (Herb), Jerry is fondly remembered by his wife Charmian, his children (Morgan and Jessica Vanderwal and Jessical McGrath; and by extended family, Melanie Dubord), siblings Frits (Sandra), John (Diane), Henny (David) nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
Life was full of involvement in Scouts, Swimming, Diving, Soccer, Softball. If Jerry wasn’t participating, he was cheering the kids on; always encouraging them to do their best. And have fun!
His work in sales garnered the same intensity. Do your best; give your all; make sure the customer has what they want and need to help their businesses grow.
Jerry’s passing has left a profound void in the lives of everyone that he interacted with. He would not want us to mourn his passing; but celebrate his life and all he brought to those of us lucky enough to know him.
