Johanna Buccongello (nee Scanlan)
October 7, 1937 - December 11, 2020
It is with great sadness and peace that we announce the Lord has called our Mom, Johanna home to her eternal rest.
Johanna fought and survived many health issues over the past few years but lost her courageous battle during this terrible time.
Predeceased by her wonderful husband Tony Buccongello (2009).
Johanna is survived by her loving son Tony, daughter in law Carolyn, and her pride and joy, only grandson Nicolas.
Daughter, companion, partner in crime Joanne.
Beloved sister to Fr. Des, Sr. Margaret, Larry- predeceased. Survived by her sister Ellen.
Loved dearly by her sisters in law Linda and Elizabeth and families.
A woman of great faith, Mom was always been comforted by prayer. A heartfelt Thank You to her longtime support system from St. Thomas a Becket Parish.
Mom has spent the last 7 years happily at Vivalis Residence. We are grateful to the entire staff for their dedication and care.
Due to the restrictions in the world presently, a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we ask donations be made to the Lakeshore Hospital Foundation.
