<div itemprop="description">John Robert Leslie, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, suddenly departed from this world on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the age of 88 leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. <br> <br>Born on February 19, 1936, in Stratford, Ontario to parents Irene and Bill, John lived a life marked by compassion, generosity, and unwavering strength. He touched the hearts of all who knew him with his infectious smile, easy going nature, and contagious laugh. <br> <br>Throughout his life, John was known for his dedication to his family, his passion for cruising, and his love for his dogs. He loved to watch action movies and the news. <br> <br>John leaves behind his loving wife, Dawn Kerr Leslie, his children Jill (Leonard), David, Todd (Sue), Derek (Jules), grandchildren Riley (Kyle), Haley, Jaxon and Dylan, his sister Donna Sutton, brother-in-law Jim Kerr (Linda) and his nieces Leslie, Shelley, Catherine, Kelly, and nephew Brian who will all cherish his memory. <br> <br>In his passing, we mourn the loss of a remarkable man, but we also celebrate a life well-lived and the profound impact he had on those around him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with love. <br> <br>A private memorial service to honor and celebrate John's life will be held for the family. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of John Leslie. <br> <br>Rest in peace John, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. <br> <br></div>
