John (Jack) Logan
May 6, 1929 - June 29, 2019
John Hugh Davidson Logan - born May 6, 1929.
Survived by his devoted wife of 60 years Anne (nee Juskiw), son John and daughter Kathleen (David Burakoff), both of Pierrefonds, Quebec, sisters Marguerite (Arnold Bear) of Boise, Idaho, and Claire of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and brother David (Rita) of Shaunavon, Saskatechewan. He retired from the C.N.R. in 1989 after 38 years of service.
He was very active in various Masonic bodies and was a Past Master of Harmony Lodge #131, in Pierrefonds. He was a 33rd Degree Mason, Past Thrice Puissant Grand Master and Past Commander-in-chief in the Scottish Rite, and a Member of The Royal Order of Scotland, a Past District Deputy Grand Master in the Grand Lodge of Quebec, a Past Grand Superintendent in the Grand Chapter of Quebec, and as a member of Karnak Shriners was a Past President of the Oriental Band, a member of the S.D. & G. Cornwall Shrine Club, and a Past Director of the Royal Order of Jesters.
He was a member of Roxboro United Church and the General Vanier Branch No. 234 of the Royal Canadian Legion, and a founding member of the Pierrefonds Pipes & Drums band.
Funeral will be held Sunday July 7th at 12pm at Roxboro United Church, 116 Cartier street, Roxboro, QC H8Y 1G8.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Childrens Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
