<div itemprop="description">Joyce Elizabeth Bassenden passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on July 05 1941 to Evelyn and Robert Wiechold. She grew up in Montreal and was one of eight children: Sandra, Jeanie, Lois, Heather, Johnny, Robert, and Jimmy. She was Married to Arthur Bassenden in 1960 and had 3 children, Donald Karen and Robert. She was a devoted Mother and proud Grandmother to Taylor, Antonella, Brandon and Kristen. <br> <br>She will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor, her kind heart and gentle spirit. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all her family and Friends. <br> <br>The family extends its gratitude to the Glen Stor Dun Lodge for their care during Joyce's last two years. As well as special thanks to Sister-in-Law Anne for her constant support. <br> <br>A funeral service will be held in her honor at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Boul. des Sources in Dollard-des-Ormeaux on March 1st 2024 from 11:00 to 13:00 <br></div>
