<div itemprop="description">Dr. Juan Baquiran Viloria was born on February 5, 1935, in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, and passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. He was 90 years old. <br> <br>A devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and mentor, Juan was known for his unwavering kindness, distinct wit, and deep commitment to his work, family, and communities. Predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia Lynn (Jorgensen), in 2005, he is survived by his wife, Eufracia Antonio; his son, James Anthony Viloria; his son-in-law, Mark Jorgensen; his grandson, James Magnus Quinn Jorgensen; and countless extended family members and friends. <br> <br>Dr. Viloria, affectionately known as "Dr. V," possessed encyclopedic knowledge of pathology, which he applied throughout his distinguished career at the Montreal General Hospital as an MD and at McGill University's Faculty of Medicine as an Assistant Professor. His deep expertise, paired with a warm and disarming nature, made his guidance and mentorship all the more meaningful. <br> <br>Beyond his medical career, Juan was a cherished figure in Montreal's Filipino community. His easy-going, joyful spirit and sincere warmth touched many lives, and his legacy will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation can be made. <br> <br>With heartfelt thanks to Connie Fabro for her tireless dedication and steadfast support. <br> <br> <br></div>
