<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Judy Nicholls (née Daniel), who left us on June 8, 2025, at the age of 90, after a difficult battle with Alzheimer's. Born on May 25,1935 in St. Lucia, West Indies, she came to Canada in 1960 and built a wonderful life. She was the beloved wife of Winston Nicholls for 51 years. <br> <br>Judy will be deeply missed by her loving children: Andrea (Michael) and David (Shelley) and her most cherished grandchildren: Melissa, Vivian, Vaughn, Avery and Ellis. She will also be dearly missed by the rest of her extended family, including her siblings, Larry, Christine, Kenny, Angela, Jill and Patsy, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her dear sister Daphne, her beloved stepparents Melvina and Herman Collymore and her parents Evelyna D'Auvergne and Larry Daniel. <br> <br>Judy's presence was always one of love, kindness and laughter. She made our home a wonderful place - making everyone feel welcome and always nurturing everyone around her, especially the kids! A proud St. Lucian, she loved music, dancing, and pursued many hobbies to make things more beautiful in and around the home. She touched the lives of many. Her bright smile, caring nature and fierce love of her family and friends was a constant. <br> <br>We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who cared for her so lovingly in her most trying times: Joy, Jolly and Pamela and the team on the 3rd floor at Pavillion Camille-Lefebvre in Lachine. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be very much appreciated. <br> <br>Visitation will take place on Wednesday June 18 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and then from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6. A funeral service to remember her life will take place on Thursday June 19 at 11:00 AM at the same location.</div>
