<div itemprop="description">Kathleen Barbara Hackett <br> <br>After living a wonderful life, the last 41 years ofwhich were with her loving <br>husband, Kathleen, on April 28, 2020 calmly left us to join her deceased parents, <br>Arthur and Ena. Devoted to her family she will live on in the loving memories of <br>her husband Fitzroy (Larry), her three children, Patricia, Charmaine and Roger and <br>her siblings, Tusha, Norma, Mary, Monica, Gloria, Charles, Sylma, and lngrid. Also <br>Kathleen is survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grand children and several <br>nieces, nephews and cousins. <br> <br>Kathleen was born in Trinidad and Tobago on March 3, 1942 and immigrated to <br>Canada in 1968. She entered university with the intention of studying nursing but <br>soon thereafter switched to Chemistry. She will go on to study undergraduate <br>Chemistry at Long Island University and graduate Chemistry at Concordia <br>University. Nursing however was one of her characteristics and so she never <br>missed an opportunity to help others in distress. <br> <br>When Kathleen was not at work, she will pass her time reading, sewing, painting <br>and with handicraft projects. She was thoughtful and quiet and always found a <br>way to quietly impress those around. She loved to travel and to be with family. <br>She loved nature and music and would travel back to Trinidad regularly and enjoy <br>the tropical outdoors and beaches. <br> <br>Memories of Kathleen are blessings to all those who knew her.</div>
