<div itemprop="description">Murphy, Kenneth passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on September 8th, 2024 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Carole (nee Gregory), dear father of Kevin (Kelly), Jennifer (Derek). Loving grandfather of Kendra and Dillon. <br>Ken (Murph) worked at The Montreal Gazette as a district manager for over 30 years. He was born at home in 1939 on New Year’s in Verdun, which led to a lifetime of him being the life of the party. He enjoyed telling stories and jokes, ever the entertainer. <br>We would like to thank the CLSC Lac St-Louis, the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and the Lakeshore General Hospital for all of their support over the years.<br><br>Please join us for a celebration of his life at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boulevard des Sources, DDO, Friday, September 20th, 2024. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00. A service will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 followed by the burial at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Pointe-Claire, with a reception at the Murphy residence afterwards.<br><br>He will be greatly missed by all who knew him!<br><br>In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to The Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Foundation (FHMR) or The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation. <br></div>
