<div itemprop="description">We regretfully announce the passing of Kenneth Thain, who left us quietly on February 4th.<br><br>He is predeceased by his loving wife Muriel. Also survived by his 3 children Gordon, Colin and Fiona and grandsons Christopher and Michael.<br><br>He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland where he attended Gordon’s College. He also spent time in the merchant navy and RAF.<br><br>Upon emigrating to Canada in 1957 he secured a position with the Bank of Montreal where he had a long and successful career.<br><br>He was an avid soccer player and fan of the Dons he also enjoyed playing golf.<br><br>Ken was well known for his “SHORT” speeches at any friends and family events.<br><br>He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.<br><br></div>
