We regretfully announce the passing of Kenneth Thain, who left us quietly on February 4th.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Muriel. Also survived by his 3 children Gordon, Colin and Fiona and grandsons Christopher and Michael.
He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland where he attended Gordon’s College. He also spent time in the merchant navy and RAF.
Upon emigrating to Canada in 1957 he secured a position with the Bank of Montreal where he had a long and successful career.
He was an avid soccer player and fan of the Dons he also enjoyed playing golf.
Ken was well known for his “SHORT” speeches at any friends and family events.
He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
