<div itemprop="description">It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Karl Bawab on April 12, 2025, in Montreal, at the age of 95. <br>He will be dearly missed by friends and family alike. He led a rich, long and rewarding life. For 45 years he was a loving husband to Verna, who required much attention and care in her latter years. He was an avid tennis player and gardener, and he enjoyed cooking, watching tennis and listening to classical music. He and Verna travelled the world often and collected many beautiful pieces of art, carpets and tapestries, proudly displaying them at their home in Montreal. <br> <br>A portion of his estate will be donated to the local hospitals that cared for both he and Verna. <br> <br> In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to McGill Health Centre Foundation in Montreal, Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation in Pointe-Claire, and Hopital Sacre-Coeur de Montreal Foundation in Montreal. <br> <br>This event will be a live streaming broadcast https://fweb.tv/180951 <br></div>
