Libero Vendittelli, 82, of Kirkland, Qc, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
Libero was born on February 19, 1943, in Pignataro Interamna, Italy, to Luigi Vendittelli and Maria Giuseppa Iacavone. At the age of 21 in June of 1964, he married Maria Petrucci. Together, they settled in Canada and built a life rooted in love, hard work, and family.
Libero was a man of resilience and dedication to those he cared for. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, taking immense pride in creating a better life for his children and grandchildren. He took pride in his craft and was always ready to help.
Libero was predeceased by his wife, Maria, who passed away in September 2024. He is now reunited with her in eternal peace. He was also predeceased by his brother, Giuseppe.
Libero leaves behind his loving children: Claudio (Sandra), Mirella, and Simonetta (Michael). He was the proud Nonno of Jesse, Justin, Matthew, Laura, Marco, Julia, and Steven—each of whom brought him immense pride and joy. He will be remembered by his extended family, including many nieces, nephews, and cousins both in Canada and Italy, and by friends who knew him as a kind and generous man who enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Libero’s legacy is one of hard-work, strength, and family commitment —gifts he passed on to every generation that follows him.
